Simulasi Numerik Impact Jangkar-Pipeline : Validasi Model

Abstract

Failures of subsea pipeline can be caused by external loads such as an impact from free-falling anchor. This paper discusses numerical syudy of the effect of anchor impact. The deformation calculated using explicit dynamic ^model. The pipe is modeled by Cowper Symonds Strength. The anchor is assumed as a rigid body. The seabed is also assumed as rigid body those provide fix support to the pipe.The present prediction is compared to corresponding experimental study by Yu et al in 2016  [1]. The comparation shows that the present model predict dent depth in a good accurancy.
