A problem was identified in the piping system of the Gas Compressor Module on line number 10”-PG-D1-23-2304, where the installed pipe did not conform to the approved design during the construction phase. This study aims to analysis pipe stress, nozzle loads, and the natural frequency of the piping system using CAESAR II software. Stress analysis was conducted based on ASME B31.3, nozzle load analysis referred to API 617 for compressors and API 661 for coolers, while natural frequency analysis employed the modal method in accordance with DNV-RP-C101. The evaluation results indicate that the actual nozzle loads exceeded the allowable limits, and the natural frequency did not meet the standard requirements. To resolve these issues, a design modification was implemented by adding a new pipe support. After the modification, the analysis results show that the nozzle loads, natural frequency, and pipe stress are within the allowable limits as defined by the relevant standards. Therefore, the modified design through the addition of a new support is considered technically acceptable.
