Abstract

Due to the relocation of the fuel dispenser aimed at improving fuel refilling time efficiency at the jetty facility, it is necessary to recalculate the required pump head and determine the appropriate pump specifications for the redesigned pipeline. The selection of pump specifications plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the fuel distribution process in the new configuration. In this study, manual calculations were performed to determine the required pump specifications, followed by flow simulation using flow analysis software. The results show that the redesigned pipeline requires a pump head of 29.035 meters, with a hydraulic power of 0.413 kW and a pump shaft power of 0.763 kW. Based on these results, the Gunforce CM 10-2-A-R-A-V-AQQV-F-A-A-A-N pump, with a head of 31.94 meters and a shaft power of 1.5 kW, was selected to support the fuel distribution process after the redesign.
