Abstract

The construction of the Pastillator Factory piping system installation scheduled with a
duration of 78 days in 3 months was delayed to 142 days. The delay was caused by several factors. In
this study, identification of delays using the Fishbone Diagram method is used to visualize the factors
causing delays in this project. By using PERT method, the probability of success of this project is only
22.06%. The total cost incurred reached Rp 3,887,796,715.32, which exceeded the contract value of
the project. To overcome this problem, the study recommends the implementation of project
acceleration through more efficient rescheduling, as well as optimizing the use of existing resources
and tools. The implementation of this acceleration is expected to not only complete the project on
schedule, but also assist in better cost control.
