Analisis Kinerja Proyek dengan Metode EARN VALUE Management dan CRASH COST
Abstract
In the smelter construction project, various supporting aspects were involved in its continuation, one of which was the piping work package. The Shop Fabrication for Metallic Pipe was expected to be completed within 13 months, from November 2022 to November 2023. Delays were experienced from the beginning of the work, resulting in a setback from the initial schedule. By the final month of the contract, the work had only reached 92.47%, indicating that 7.53% of the work remained unfinished. An analysis of worker quality, as well as cost and time, was conducted. The analysis of time and cost was carried out using the Earned Value method. The CPI and SPI values obtained were 0.97 and 0.92, respectively, both below 1,, indicating delays and cost overruns. The Earned Value analysis determined that an additional 33 days were required to complete the project, with an estimated additional cost of Rp4,232,813,489.24. Therefore, the estimated completion time was 412 days. Subsequently, a Crash Cost analysis was performed to shorten the project completion time by adding overtime hours, resulting in an optimal duration of 26 days with a cost of Rp 4,022,188,929.67. The cost for this completion method was lower than the Earned Value completion cost, and the project duration was shorter.
