Abstract

The research involved conducting Vickers hardness tests and Microstructure analysis to
evaluate the material changes after welding. The research aimed to improve understanding of how
the welding process impacts material integrity and performance, particularly in industrial
applications. Analyzing the results obtained from the test results, this research provides valuable
insights into the quality and characteristics of welded joints. The findings contribute to optimizing
welding procedures and material selection to improve structural integrity and mechanical properties.
In conclusion, analysis of the results from this study found that the hardness of the material is still in
the safe to use category and does not need further treatment after welding.
