Perhitungan Head Pump Jalur Perpipaan Diesel Fuel dari Tangki Timbun menuju Stasiun Pengisian
Abstract
The development of facilities within mining areas is crucial for enhancing production
capabilities. A key aspect of this development is the construction of fuel facilities, with a particular
focus on pipeline design. This research addresses the challenges posed by the area's topography,
existing infrastructure, and road crossings. The primary objectives are to design an efficient pipeline
system and determine the appropriate pump specifications. The study employs the Darcy-Weisbach
theory to calculate head loss, complemented by simulations using Pipe Flow Expert software. The
results indicate a total pipeline head loss of 45.79 meters, with a software error margin of 1.16%. The
total head for the pump is calculated at 70.34 meters. Future research should explore different
software and the operational dynamics of a dual-pump system.
