Abstract

Abstract - In the construction of the WWTP (Waste Water Treatmant Plant) project located in Purwakarta, the work is planned for 199 days starting from May 2022 to January 2023, but is still running 67%. There was a delay in the WWTP work on the pipe construction work (Carbon Steel, FRP, PPH). With this delay, the owner and contractor have made an agreement to extend the duration of work for 5 months which must be completed in June 2023 with a penalty of 0.1% of the contract value per day. The method used in this study is the Crashing method to accelerate the scheduling. And the What If Analysis method for anticipating project delays and pursuing activities that should have been completed on time by adding working hours or the number of workers. From the results of the analysis it can be explained that the acceleration of the Crashing method with a duration of 122 days produces a smaller cost compared to the actual duration cost with a difference of 16 days which is IDR 5,627,150,652 with an actual duration cost of IDR 5,724,757,652. Meanwhile, the What if analysis method with a duration of 116 days resulted in a higher cost of IDR 6,567,450,652 compared to the crashing method. So that the acceleration chosen in this study by considering the minimum cost and optimum time using the crashing method..
