PERANCANGAN JALUR DISTRIBUSI UTAMA SISTEM PENYEDIAAN AIR MINUM PADA RESERVOIR DI KOTA SEMARANG
Abstract
Abstract-Water is one of the basic human requirement that used in daily life. Every year humans experience population growth. The increased demand for water is due to high population growth. The Manyaran 2 Reservoir in the Manyaran Village is a reservoir that supplies water to Bojongsalam Village, Tambakharjo Village, Gisikdrono Village, Krobokan Village, and Tawangsari Village. Therefore, the population projections for the 5 villages was calculated for the next 10 years using Arithmetic and Geometric methods. From these calculations it can be seen the standard deviation to determine the method used. From the calculation of the population projection, it can be seen that each of the residents of the five villages is under 20,000 residents. With a population of under 20,000 people included in the semi-urban category, the design of total demand is 184.44 l/s. The smallest residual pressure in the piping network at the Manyaran 2 Reservoir is 23 m and the placement of the reservoir at an altitude of 53.994 meters above sea level is correct so that it does not need pump assistance until the end of the design year. In this system the pipes used are HDPE PN 12.5 bar pipes with a total length of 13819 m.
