Pengaruh Sudut Kampuh Single Vee dan Root Gap Pada Penyambungan Pipa Carbon Steel A53 Grade B Menggunakan GMAW Terhadap Lebar HAZ
Abstract
Abstract - Welding is one of the options in pipe connection. Joining by welding is carried out at high temperatures until the liquid temperature of the material being joined so that it has the potential to cause unwanted effects, one of which is changes in the microstructure of the material that affect the mechanical properties of the material. In this journal, research will be conducted on the effect of single vee joint angles of 50°, 60°, and 75° and root gaps of 1 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm using GMAW welding on the width of the HAZ. HAZ width will be analyzed with macro test to find out the best. The largest upper HAZ value is 0.19 mm with a joint angle of 50° and a root gap of 1 mm and the smallest value is 0.095 mm with a joint angle of 75° and a root gap of 3 mm. The largest HAZ value in the middle is 0.2275 mm with a seam angle of 60° and a root gap of 3 mm and the smallest value is 0.145 mm with a seam angle of 60° and a root gap of 1 mm. The largest lower HAZ value is 0.285 mm with a joint angle of 75° and a root gap of 3 mm and the smallest value is 0.1175 mm with a joint angle of 50° and a root gap of 1 mm.
