Analisis Proses Pengendalian Material Untuk Proses Fabrikasi Pada Project Chemical Menggunakan PMHS Dengan Menggunakan Metode Time Cost Trade Off
Abstract
In a project there is often a problem or obstacle outside of the initial project planning, so that delays in a project will inevitably occur. The delay that occurs will cause the duration and cost of the planned project to not be the same as the duration and cost of project implementation. One way to anticipate this is by doing optimization. In carrying out the optimization, cost and time factors must be considered in order to obtain the optimum cost and quality according to the desired standard. The Acrylic Acid Plant Construction Project was chosen for the research study because it experienced delays in its completion in the pre-fabrication phase. The delay that occurred was in the material handling process where the handling when the material came from the vendor experienced difficulties due to the lack of heavy equipment available at the workshop. Optimization is then carried out by calculating the productivity and cost of work on the critical path, then using the Time Cost Trade Off method to compare the additional working hours and workers used to determine the optimum duration and cost of project work. From the results of the analysis, it was found that work with the addition of working hours cost Rp. 26,000,000,000 and a duration of 28 days which was originally 34 days, while the work with additional workers costs Rp. 42,000,000,000.00 and a duration of 17 days which was originally 34 days. The addition of existing heavy equipment at the workshop could not be carried out because the contract that had been carried out in the project did not get an agreement for the addition of the heavy equipment. Optimization by adding working hours is chosen to overcome the delays that occur because it is enough to just add more working hours. Because if the additional workers are done, there will be a buildup of workers at the workshop. From the s curve, it is found that the difference between the s planning curve and the actual s curve is very different from the comparison of several days of work that experienced delays during unloading and unpacking materials in the last week
