Pengaruh Beban Fatigue Terhadap Keandalan Struktur Material Pipa Pada Desain Underground Pipeline
Abstract
In the Gas Processing Project, a pipeline is a network of pipes used as a means of transporting fluids, whether liquid or gas. The pipeline is designed at a temperature of 170 ° F and a pressure of 1020 psig where the material used is API5L Grade X60. In the design stage, the engineering party must pay attention to the resistance of the pipe material structure to internal loads. This study aims to analyze fatigue of the pipe material structure, as well as their influence on the reliability of the underground pipeline. Analysis of pipe stress and fatigue can be performed using software CAESAR II based on ASME B31.8, while the effect of fatigue on the reliability of underground pipelines uses the monte carlo method. The results of this study are expected to identify the reliability of the piping system. In addition, as a reference, the engineering division can report the results of this research to the contractor as a report with a more accurate analysis.
