Abstract

Abstract - In the PLTU there are various types of systems, one of them is the FireFighting system because the PLTU has a high risk of various potential disasters such as fire, the PLTU should be protected using a FireFighting system. For now at PLTU outdoor fire fighting pipe design system, which is an underground pipe that often occurs unidentified pipe problems. In this final project the design of the aboveground pipe will be re-designed using standard NFPA 850 and API PR 1102, calculation of head loss to determine pump power, estimation of material costs and construction services and scheduling. From the results of manual calculation and simulation of pipe flow expert software, the head pump obtained is worth 64.7 m and 63.5 m so that the error percentage is 1.91% from manual calculations, the duration of the project is estimated to be completed within 60 days (2 months) and the results of the calculation of the material budget plan are Rp. 1,696,619,828.00, the construction cost budget is Rp. 624,122,000.00, the total budget is Rp. 2,320,741,828.00.
