Analisa Tegangan dan Kelelahan Akibat Pengaruh Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV) Yang Terjadi Pada Lokasi Crossing 18” LP Production Pipeline PS3MP01 to PS3C

Abstract

Abstract – An 18†pipeline is designed to cross 3 other pipeline which has 20†diameter for its highest. This crossing method is using Concrette Matress that has 1350 mm height from seabed. The Free-Span condition is occured due to crossing condition. At this behavior, pipe will affected by Vortex Induced Vibration that caused by current velocity. This free-span also need a fatigue analysis during the operation to maintain the operation condition. The equivalent stress analysis for static condition is conducted by ASME B31.8, and for alllowable span analysis is conducted by the DNV-RP-F105. For the fatigue calculation analysis will be conducted as DNV-RP-C203 while simulation method is conducted by ANSYS Fluent that transfered into ANSYS Static Structural for the pressure load. The result occur to this analysis is that theallowable dynamic free span is 16,45. For the  In-Line motion criteria is not comply and need to be assessed for fatigue life. The fatigue life result for the analysis is 27 years with damage ratio 0,7401.
